What’s happened to Habeas Corpus?

As a British passport holder I’m ashamed to say that Britain has been holding a man under arrest without charge for more than 500 days now. That man of course is Julian Assange. Whether you love or hate Mr Assange, his programme on RT, called The World Tomorrow, has been quite good, particularly this week’s episode in which Assange interviewed Rafael Correa, the left wing populist president of Ecuador.
